Firefly Custom Models

Custom Models

If you’d like to generate images with the same look and style of a group of existing photos, illustrations and/or character studies, you now have the ability to train your own custom model in Firefly.

Step 1 – in the Firefly sidebar, go to Custom models

Step 2 – choose a training method, based on a Photography style, an Illustration style or Characters. Clicking the thumbnails will show examples of each style and list some basic guidelines for training your custom model

Step 3 – click ‘Start adding images’ (10-30 JPG or PNG images)

Firefly will analyze your images and make recommendations on how to improve the data set before training, including flagging images that are too low resolution or fall outside the suggested aspect ration (not greater than 16:9 or 9:16). Firefly automatically generates a name, captions and custom tags for your images.

Step 4 – finally, click ‘Train’ to create your custom model. Keep in mind that you can’t add images to your dataset after training is complete (but you can remove images) and note that there is a significant cost to building a custom model (500 credits)

Once training is complete, it will appear in your ‘Model Inventory’ as ‘Trained’ and after selecting your custom model you will have the option to Generate in Firefly (uses 20 credits for each prompt, which produces 2 results based on your prompt).
