Edit > Edit Colors > Generative Recolor

Select the artwork you’d like to recolor before going to the menu command above. You can also click the ‘Recolor Artwork’ icon in the Control bar, then click ‘Generative Recolor’. A prompt is required – use or edit one of the ‘Sample Prompts’ or write your own, then hit ‘Generate’.

Choose one of the variations. If you’d like a bit more control over which colors are modified, click the ‘Advanced’ button, then turn ‘off’ the arrow to the right of the color that you don’t want to be modified. You can also choose color groups from the right side of panel, then ‘Randomly change color order’ using buttons in the panel.
